The role

The Administration Assistant plays a key role in supporting a range of Test Development project activities, and the wider ICASA business as required. The duties are varied and include copyright coordination, marker administration, managing payment for our external contractors, quality assurance, reporting and project administration support.

We are seeking applications for a full-time permanent Administration Assistant to join the ICAS Assessments Test Development team.

Other duties include:

  • Working with our Literacy and Project teams to ensure the smooth running of Marking sessions for ICAS Writing tests. This entails co-ordinating marker appointments, processing marker timesheets and maintaining a marker database
  • Responding to requests for information in a timely manner ensuring accuracy of advice and documentation.
  • Managing all aspects of copyright for materials used in tests
  • Ensuring priorities are recognised and that reviewing and copyright workflow is efficiently managed
  • Pilot/Trial test delivery including contact with schools, draft correspondence, user guides and other relevant documentation and record details, manage helpdesk phone and email support to schools, and assistance with data cleaning
  • Preparing contracts and processing invoices for external contractors working in test development

About you

You are organised, resourceful and totally reliable.

You have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to negotiate effectively and build relationships.

A strong customer focus is a key requirement.

You are highly proficient in MS Office and Office 365, with exceptional knowledge of Word and Excel.

You will have the ability to work independently as well as cooperatively as part of a team.

You have relevant qualifications with substantial experience in an administrative role, preferably one including editing/reviewing materials for publication and/or copyright management.
