The Role

We’re going through a period of massive growth with no sign of slowing down. To help us succeed we are seeking a passionate Data analyst to support the Head of Data Analysis & Reporting in providing ICAS Assessment with advice and insights into assessment data.

The role includes the preparation and interpretation of psychometric data on assessment programs and associated reporting as well as work on new products and services. In addition, the role provides support for the reporting team as well as assisting the broader organization with help and advice on data and statistics.

Duties include:

  • Planning, developing and implementing data analysis task as directed
  • Conducting item and test analysis of assessment data for key ICAS assessment products
  • Providing support to the Reporting manager as needed to help expedite reporting tasks and also providing support and advice to other teams on data and statistic matters
  • Document data analysis processes and procedures
  • Ensuring the reporting team receive timely and accurate support for data analysis tasks
  • Ensuring documents outlining key business processes on data analysis tasks are accurate and up to date
  • Helping the business (in particular the test development team) gain timely insights into test and item performance.
  • Maintaining the necessary professional skills in data analysis and psychometrics

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in data analysis, statistical measurement and educational measurement along with the experience in the design, collection and processing of large datasets, as well as an interest in education and school based assessment

You should have a technical experience with some or all of: R/R-studio, KNIME, Python, SQL or other relevant data/statistics tools

You will have a strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation of information to internal and external audiences and a strong competency in the use of Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite programs

You should be a inventive problem solver who is eager to learn from and support others.
