The Role

Are you an agile marketer with a drive to use your skills to make a meaningful impact to education and equity across the globe? If so, we’re interested in talking to you.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Marketing and Events Executive to join our dynamic and experienced marketing team.

You will report into the Senior Marketing Manager and support them with managing and executing all virtual and physical events (hosted and sponsored) for the business, as well as rolling out the PISA for Schools marketing plan in Australia and across the world (starting with the US, the UK and Ireland).

Duties include:

  • Plan, facilitate, promote and successfully deliver our PISA for Schools online and face-to-face events program end-to-end, including (but not limited to): team and stakeholder briefings, pre- and post-event promotion, registration management, creative and digital asset creation, sponsorships, speaking opportunities, sales enablement, automated workflows, system set-up, logistics and reporting
  • Collaborate and manage external event agencies and organisers, industry associations, channel partners (e.g. Microsoft) and other external stakeholder relationships to ensure that outsourced activities are always delivered to a high standard of quality, on time and to budget
  • Work alongside our internal marketing team and PISA for Schools stakeholders to deliver integrated campaigns and other marketing initiatives from the approved yearly plans – covering key channels and functions such as events, email/nurture campaigns, social media (paid and organic), PR, publication advertising, sales enablement, content and website/blog
  • Proactively seek opportunities to maximise the impact of event campaigns and spot potential new marketing avenues aligned with key business goals and PISA for Schools plans
  • Conduct general HubSpot data maintenance and PISA for Schools research
  • Generate data and insight from event and marketing campaigns through regular reporting and analysis to improve business decisions and optimise future performance

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have exceptional experience in Digital marketing, events and Campaign management and along with this hands on experience with CRM, marketing and automation platforms (e.g. HubSpot) .

You will have experience with hosting virtual events and comfortable operating live stream equipment and software (e.g. GoToWebinar, ON24, Zoom, Cvent Virtual Attendee Hub, Eventbrite etc.)

You should be confident to deliver and support face-to-face events, sponsorships, and obtain and manage speaking opportunities and also high-level of internal and external stakeholder management experience (e.g. event agencies)  and should be proficient in executing campaigns across emails, social and website .

You should have a Can do Attitude and excellent communication skills – both verbal and written (including copywriting, briefing and editing) and a strong analytical and presentation skills to effectively report and deliver campaign results
