The role

We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and share their knowledge and passion for all things ecommerce related with others in our fast-paced EdTech business. Our ecommerce business is growing fast but it is not a standard web shop. We sell to a unique global education audience both B2B and B2C. Nothing normal about our Shopify site and that is why we need that special person who wants to learn and grow with us. Our ecommerce platform is a $6million+ business and growing fast.

Other duties include:

  • manage and coordinate the products, content and UX/UI of our Shopify site, provide end to end support for all ecommerce and shop related website initiatives. Create, edit & publish content and products on ecommerce Shopify site
  • manage and load shop products, set up SKUs on shop, and update product pages, optimize the shop and products pages including titles, bullets, descriptions, images, and content for higher conversions and better SEO outcomes
  • schedule pricing changes and ensure information is up to date for all end products and modify as required to match the business sales calendar, ensure shop banners and announcement bars are optimised and up to date to reflect campaigns and/or promotions
  • plan and schedule the maintenance and updates of all site content and manage day to day maintenance of the website and shop including technical and code improvements
  • recommend UX/UI improvements and modifications to grow sales and support customer feedback. Work closely with the internal Marketing team and external agencies to enable ecommerce growth

About you


  • Exceptional attention to detail, organised and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement, a curious team player with a positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the business.
  • Adept at analysing and reporting data focussed on constant improvement, highly results oriented, ready to work in a fast-paced and busy environment
  • Adaptable and able to deal with competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Advanced working knowledge of Shopify admin functions, reporting and configuration
  • Exposure to website CMS or similar application, understanding and experience with email marketing applications and CRM databases such as HubSpot and/or Dynamics


  • At least 2+ years’ experience in the eCommerce space is essential (Shopify experience is a must)
  • Strong experience in content management and promotional execution, experience writing copy for a live web environment
  • Experience owning project management for website or ecommerce platform an advantage and thorough understanding of the online environment and technical knowledge
  • Ability to learn new systems, apps and ways of driving improved business results with technology
  • Experience with web analytics and conversion rate optimization an advantage, highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously
