About the opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Event Delivery Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing crucial support and coordination to ensure the successful delivery of events using the Janison Assessment platform globally.

This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with various teams, including delivery leads and manager, IT operations, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth event operations and timely issue resolution (in accordance with SLAs). You will need to understand the timing and frequency of their events across the year, and assist the implementation, quality assurance and delivery of the digital assessment and ensuring overall successful delivery.

This is a permanent full-time role based in Australia. With offices in Sydney, Coffs Harbour, and co-working spaces in Queensland, you can choose from hybrid or fully remote work.

Day to day this role will see you:

  1. Provide expert advice and support for delivery or marking phases during the operational times of the customer, utilising various support and communication tools.
  2. Prioritise and triage support tickets efficiently, gathering necessary information from customers to reduce disruption and resolution times.
  3. Ensure client environments are functionally operational, addressing any bugs or issues from previous events.
  4. Work closely with the delivery lead and IT operations team to ensure the scalable environment is set up effectively for event ramp-up.
  5. Collaborate effectively with team members and clients across multiple time zones.

 

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Proven experience as a helpdesk technician or other customer support role.
  2. Strong technical knowledge and experience in supporting software platforms, preferably in event delivery or customer support.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  4. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
  5. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Desirable:

  1. Experience or understanding in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and/or HTML.
  2. Experience or exposure to Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
  3. Ability to use Excel to develop and maintain advanced reports for delivery and marking.
