The role

In this newly-created role, the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager will work closely with the CFO and executive leadership to increase Janison’s efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of medium and long-term financial plans, and by providing analytical support in decision making across the business.

Duties include:

  • Work with Business Unit & Functional heads to build annual budgets, forecasts, and to consolidate information into meaningful executive and board reports
  • Own the Annual Operating Plan process and production of the annual budget pack
  • Produce a forecasting model to project long term cash flow and business growth, understanding the drivers of cost and margin, and determining the internal and external factors impacting the business
  • Analyse financial and operational data to better understand company performance and aid in decision-making across internal and external business investments
  • Work closely with the CEO, CFO and external partners on the execution of the M&A strategy, assessing the financial and commercial viability of potential acquisition targets, due diligence, assisting with the negotiation of contracts and integration planning.
  • Pricing analysis, customer contract review and commission/ incentive planning
  • Process development
  • Investor relations and ASX comms support
  • Utilise BI and other reporting tools to present KPIs and meaningful insights into the business
  • Work closely with the Group Finance Manager and the Finance team to; optimise the Chart of Accounts and transaction recording to ensure accuracy and alignment with the business accountability chart, assist with EOM and EOY close and the process to reduce close timing.
  • Chair internal executive meetings on Cash, Capex and Forecasting

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have 7-10 years analytical experience and best-practice FP&A and proven ability to produce integrated cash flow models from scratch.

Along with this, you will have high level computer literacy; Advanced Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Financial software.

You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills, influencing ability and written/verbal communication skills

It is desirable to this role that you hold a CA/CPA/CIMA preferably with experience in a technology company or SaaS business.
