The role

Reporting to the CEO and part of the Executive Leadership team, the Head of People & Culture will play a pivotal role in uplifting Janison employees’ capability via a thorough performance management & capability framework.

Leading a small People & Culture team, you will drive workplace initiatives, contributing to making the company a better place to work and enabling our team to be the best they can be.

Responsibilities include;

  • Developing and embedding an end to end, best in class, performance management process
  • Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Leading and coaching the organisation through change management initiatives and enabling high performance leadership during a period of change and transformation
  • Supporting management teams with disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Providing manager training on best practice performance management and capability uplift
  • Ownership of People strategy and building annual operating plan
  • Building technical and leadership capability at the middle management level
  • Developing competency frameworks across the business
  • Data collection, reporting and analysis of HR metrics, specifically: employee attrition and employee onboarding/exit data and using this data to inform everything we do in P&C.
  • Leading a small P&C team including People Operations Coordinator and TA Lead
  • Ownership of full employee life-cycle

About you

You are an HR Leader who has had proven experience in embedding best practice performance management frameworks. You are passionate about uplifting performance and capability within a fast-growing organisation whilst proactively maintaining an engaged culture.

Essential to this role is in depth experience of HR functions such as employee relations, training, compensation and benefits, organisational development, policy review and implementation. You must be committed to achieving results and enjoy working in an environment of change.

You will be confident in challenging established practices and ways of thinking, whilst encouraging innovation and communicating in a way that wins commitment and buy-in to a common vision with clearly stated goals.
