The role

Partners are essential to support our growth objectives and the Partner Manager role is critical in supporting these relationships. Janison is looking for a talented, proven leader, with great energy and initiative, to fill a strategic and highly visible role to manage our partnerships and alliances for Janison’s customers across the world.

As the Partner Manager, you will be responsible for working with existing partners as well as recruiting and onboarding new partners.  You will be responsible for developing and executing joint go-to-market strategies with partners that accelerate revenue for both the partner and Janison.

Through the development of a comprehensive joint business plan with clear priorities and growth targets for each partner, you will enable the partnership to scale faster and more effectively. A passion for being entrepreneurial coupled with a strong execution bias are critical facets of this role.

The definition of joint partnership success metrics and go to market (GTM) plans that will include growth initiatives, solution development, operation engagement and enablement plans, demand generation/marketing plans, partnership governance, partner enablement, and product and technology alignment.

Responsibilities include;

  • Driving the strategic relationship with partners
  • Designing and executing GTM plans which will include the development of joint product solutions, sales training/education, and pipeline generation
  • Managing partner relationships to maximise revenue and to ensure partner commitment.
  • Driving sales engagement through proactive account mapping sessions, building pipeline, convertion and influence opportunities into sales

About you

You will have a proven track record of leading and building partnerships and associated revenue in a high growth organisation, coupled with experience creating differentiated and successful partner account management plans and relationships with partners.

You will be able to demonstrate your ability to drive a significant increase in revenue through partnerships and customers, and the ability to create credible business cases highlighting these revenue growth opportunities

You must be capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and partner constituencies including senior-level executives, legal, finance, support, sales, and marketing experts.

Essential to the success of this role, you have broad-based business and technology expertise with 5+ years of consulting, management or business leadership experience, with a track record of driving business development. Good knowledge of online Assessment (or Similar) Education technology and applications products/solutions, platform and SaaS would be highly desirable. Finally you have the ability to succeed in working cross-functionally with direct sales, marketing, and partner success team.
