The role

Our current Sales Operations Manager is moving to a newly-created role within the Janison business – creating an exceptional opportunity within one of the fastest-growing teams at Janison: the Go-To-Market Team, responsible for sales, marketing and partnerships. There are some processes and reports that have already been established, but there is much more to do in our journey towards best practice and sustainable revenue growth. This role will be a critical component of that journey.

The Sales Operations Manager, will work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, sales & marketing leadership group, sales organisation, and cross functional teams to ensure Janison executes our sales and revenue objectives with operational rigour and excellence. Partnering with our sales leaders to ensure consistency, accuracy and a high level of collaboration in providing real time data driven insights that are actionable, practical and focused on a continuous improvement process methodology.

The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of sales forecasting, strategic deal management processes, sales incentive payments and our CRM data integrity.



  • Work with CRO, sales leadership and finance to drive sales pipeline/forecast accuracy and execution
  • Directly drive and manage sales forecasting processes and operational cadence
  • Liaise with cross functions to ensure sales have the supporting resources to be successful in a timely manner
  • Manage and optimise the Deals Desk, key account and bid management process
  • Analyse CRM data, historical sales data and market information to create recommendations for growth and process improvement
  • Provide sales strategic thinking and frameworks for target allocation, segmentation and territory management and annual planning
  • Create and manage the framework for customer QBR’s in conjunction with the CRO
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing leaders to create initiatives to recover and or accelerate sales results

About you

You are a Sales Operations professional, or a seasoned Business Analyst with an ambition to step up to a broader role. You have had proven experience and are passionate about developing processes and initiatives that will continue to elevate our highly performing and engaged sales team. You have an authentic affinity for our purpose in education.
