The role

The primary responsibility is for leading the successful delivery of large-scale digital assessment events globally.

Other duties include:

  • Oversee and support multiple implementations concurrently
  • Ensure events are completed on time and within budget, owning the P&L of the assessment event.
  • End to end overview of event delivery, understanding of the end-user experience and helping customers to improve end-user experience.
  • Providing regular status meeting updates with clients before, during and after the event, acting as the liaising point throughout the assessment period.
  • Work with the digital event delivery team to ensure the environment for the client is functionally operational and oversee fixes and improvements from previous events
  • Working closely with the Janison IT operations team, to ensure the environment is scaled adequately in the ramp-up to events, where required ensure marking project setup and make sure setup and support process is correct.
  • Running, providing, and explaining reports during test events. Daily and weekly reports during events, raw reports from Insights into Macro spreadsheet.
  • Support the delivery team to provide expert advice and support customers during delivery and marking phases – during the operational times of the country – utilizing required support and communication tools.
  • Be available to be on-call to support customers in ticket triage and workarounds, to work outside of standard business hours to support major events
  • Liaise with clients around tickets and their resolution and ensure prompt escalation and follow-up for issues that cannot be immediately resolved, keeping clients appraised of progress.
  • Lead a cross-functional team to issue and troubleshoot integration issues and problems and when required assist in the necessary configuration and preparation activities before the commencement of an event.
  • Supporting the clients to prepare the various data files required for loading data. Manage issues and exceptions.
  • Support the client in reviewing and approving test content for the test delivery.
  • Provide functional and technical advice to customers
  • Coordinating loading of test data for a test event, UAT test with customers, coordinating PVT test/regression testing before release, confluence event readiness checklist.
  • Create workshop to define operation process, introduce new operations, processes and (where required) tools to successfully deliver digital assessment events.
  • Lead the delivery and documentation team to continuously improve event delivery documentation, best practice, lessons learnt, user guide and customer presentation.
  • Provide post-event review presentation for events where you are the delivery lead.
  • Priorities and advocate for changes and improvements to the customer experience.
  • Providing support to the internal stakeholders by designing new features and functions of the Janison Insights platform to help ensure the system continues to improve, remain efficient and customer feedback are included in the product roadmap and future releases

About you

To be successful in this role you should have excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure the smooth delivery of events and strong relationship builder with great technical ‘know-how

You should be the ability to work effectively with clients from all cultural backgrounds in multiple time zones and work in project management or events organizing for software or tech

It’s desirable to have a basic understanding of the types of challenges that come with online platforms, the ability to best support clients’ needs in digitizing their assessments and the ability to create and maintain test and test items in the Janison Insight platform
