The role

As Solution Analyst, you will join our fast-growing and cross-functional Services Division. This is a solution focused and hands on role, in which you will play a key role in driving solution excellence and efficiency within the team, pushing innovation and quality, and delivering detail and clarity in functional and technical outcome for our clients.

Duties include:

  • Develop and recommend technical strategies and architectures for systems or enterprise-wide solutions based on customer requirement.
  • Conduct business requirement analysis and gap analysis.
  • Create and draft change requests, statement of work and project implementation plan.
  • Identify and recommend product customisations, enhancement or work-around to meet client requirements.
  • Maintain client documentation in accordance with Janison company procedures – including records of client installations, configuration, development, customisation, interface and contract agreement.
  • Act as a liaison between Janison technology teams on new product builds resulting from software patches, bug fixes, new versions.
  • Identify/manage impediments, risks & issues. Take appropriate action to resolve or escalate. Perform defect triage and early diagnosis.
  • Participate in sales and customer proposal presentations in addition to ongoing team account activities.
  • Establish and maintain regular client contact to foster effective business relationships.
  • Perform knowledge transfer to client support staff through coaching and training.
  • End to end involvement from solution evaluation to implementation.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have previous technical and business experience in a consultant role for medium to large scale enterprise projects. You will have relevant experience working on multiple projects simultaneously within specified timeframes in a fast-paced environment. Experience in educational solution industry is an advantage.

You will have relevant tertiary qualification in business, IT or equivalent.

To succeed in this role, you will be eager, organised (strong focus on system and process documentation), logical, practical, motivated and curious; You will have highly developed communication skills and ability to interact professionally with all client stakeholders and staff; Ability to work autonomously, with minimal support; Analytic mindset, accuracy, attention to details and creative problem solving.
