The Role

We’re going through a period of massive growth with no sign of slowing down. To help us succeed we are seeking a passionate Tech Lead to lead one of our delivery teams in a full-time capacity!

The Tech Leads are an integral role in our delivery teams and are responsible for ensuring high quality output from the teams by means of management and hands on work.

You will get an outstanding opportunity to join a growing team and be in a key role working with architect, development, QA and product teams.  This role will be involved in the design process and will provide valuable feedback for the product and architect teams to ensure solutions are technically and visually the best direction for Janison.

Duties include:

  • Support, improve and coach the team in Janison standards and quality guidelines
  • Develop code that meets Janison standards, is performant and conforms to accessibility and quality guidelines
  • Perform code reviews and provide feedback to developers that will help improve the quality of our code
  • Work with Scrum Masters to achieve sprint goals
  • Contribute to technical specifications in documentation and Jira tickets

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have exceptional knowledge of C#, .Net, MVC and ASP.Net as well as experience using type-checking languages such as Typescript and unit testing frameworks for front and back end code. You will have experience with Microsoft Azure, SQL and good knowledge and experience with Java script, HTML, CSS and Angular (multiple versions).

You will have experience as a manager and have the ability to communicate clearly to senior management.

It is preferable that you’ll have previous experience with cross-cutting concerns in web development, such as security, performance, and accessibility.
