Update on Selective High School and Opportunity Class Testing
This month, Janison supported the delivery of the 2025 Selective High School and Opportunity Class (OC) placement tests across New South Wales, in partnership with the NSW Department of Education.
Testing at 108 locations was delivered as planned.
On Friday 2nd May, large crowds at the Quaycentre (Olympic Park), Randwick and Canterbury venues during the Selective High School and Opportunity Class tests led to concerns about student safety and wellbeing.
We recognise that the experience at these venues was upsetting for many families and students, and we sincerely apologise for the impact this had. Student wellbeing is, and will remain, our top priority.
Following consultation with the NSW Department of Education, the remaining Selective High School and Opportunity Class tests scheduled at Canterbury, Randwick and Quaycentre (Olympic Park) on the 3rd and 4th of May were postponed.
Janison continues to work closely with the NSW Department of Education to deliver the rescheduled tests and ensure a smooth and positive experience for all students.
