Upcoming testing window: 2023
The goalposts for educational success are shifting
As an educator, you know it’s critical to prepare your students to enter the global economy. The benchmark is no longer improvement by national standards alone, but how education systems compare internationally.
After a paper-based experience in 2015-2016, Janison is delighted to partner with the OECD to re-launch PISA for Schools in the United Kingdom in a fully digital and accessible format.
As of 2021, PISA for Schools will offer your school high-value insights not only about your students’ academic achievement, but also about their learning environment, attitudes and engagement, and social and emotional skills. It will also provide you with crucial information on the impact of COVID-19 disruptions on your school and its students.
Hear educators from around the world share their insights on how assessment data from the PISA for Schools test contributes to their school’s efforts to improve student outcomes and wellbeing.
What is the OECD PISA for Schools test?
It’s a school-level assessment that provides your school with a holistic “health check”, offering valuable insights on academic performance, learning environment and how well your students can apply their knowledge.
The test is based on the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)’s world-renowned Program for International Student Assessment (PISA). While PISA delivers national-level results, PISA for Schools delivers school-level results.
How is it different from PISA?

Give your students a voice
Separately from the main test, a student questionnaire collects valuable insights about pupils’ family context, your school’s teaching environment and students’ attitudes toward learning.
Make education decisions informed by data driven insights
Test results pinpoint areas where you can make teaching practice improvements and programme changes at a school level. Multi academy trusts, school networks and local authorities can also request a group report to assess the performance of a group of schools.

In addition, the OECD’s assessment of student satisfaction is a truly unique instrument no less useful than the exam results.
