Senior Developer

Position Summary

The Senior Technical Developer is responsible for delivering high quality technology solutions that support client requirements, resolve system issues and enhance Janison platforms. This role will encompass technical delivery and stakeholder communication (both internal and external) and ensure compliance with Janison
standards/ client requirements.
In this specialised role you will work closely with Project, Product, Support, and Development teams to investigate and provide bestinclass technological solutions via strong, detailed, technical insights that improve system performance and reliability. You will work to deadlines, often managing concurrent deliverables.

We are open to applicants across Australia who can work during AEST/AEDT business hours.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

Platform Enhancement (Coding):

  • Contribute to online platform development and annual testing delivery cycles
  • Develop maintainable code that aligns with Janisons coding, accessibility, and quality standards, work
    with the team to ensure code is errorfree, simple to follow, and accurate to requirement
  • Review existing/new code and provide constructive feedback to continuously improve team output.
  • Contribute to technical and process documentation as required.

Sprints:

  • Collaborate with the project SCRUM team, actively contributing to ceremonies and ontime sprint
    delivery to improve the platform.

Support:

  • Assist with diagnostics and troubleshooting of issues in production environments during largescale
    events.

Stakeholders & Communication:

  • Provide ongoing, timely, clear/concise, proactive and reactive updates to both internal and external
    stakeholders as needed.
  • Contribute to project reporting as directed by Janison leaders – this may include weekly, monthly or
    event reporting.
  • Review project communication/ documentation providing constructive feedback to ensure quality.
  • Participate in stakeholder workshops where required.

Team Collaboration:

  • Build team competency by providing guidance on code behaviour.
  • Build and maintain relationships with all Project and BAU team members, includes client relationships.
  • Assist other team members as needed to ensure overall Program success.

About You

  • Strong experience with C# and .NET Framework 4.8
  • Solid understanding of enterprisegrade SQL technologies and best practice
  • Sound experience in TypeScript, HTML, CSS, & modern JavaScript practices
  • Sound experience in AngularJS, Razor and/or related front-end
    frameworks.
  • Effective at collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a willingness to
    mentor and support others
