Senior Developer

About the opportunity

We are searching for a Senior Developer to join our technology team on a permanent full time basis. Candidates currently based in Australia or New Zealand with full working rights are welcome to apply.

As a Senior Developer, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide support and coaching to junior team members.

Day to day this role will see you:

design, develop and maintain complex web applications and APIs using modern frameworks and programming languages such as C#, or JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as Angular (at least version 12).
collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to ensure that requirements are met, and products are delivered on time.
write clean, maintainable, and scalable code that adheres to industry best practices.
debug and troubleshoot complex issues and performance bottlenecks.
lead code reviews, provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
at least 3 years of experience in full-stack web development.
strong experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular (at least version 12).
proficient in back-end languages such as C# and JavaScript.
expertise in relational databases such as SQL Server.
experience with cloud platforms such as Azure Cloud.

In addition, it would be a bonus if you have:

experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
familiarity with serverless computing and functions as a service (FaaS) technologies such as Azure Functions.
familiarity with modern Data Warehousing and Reporting solutions.
knowledge of DevOps tools and practices such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
experience with agile development methodologies.

The Senior Developer will be someone that is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, delivering high quality work to tight deadlines. A strong communicator who has a knack for problem solving.
