About the Role

We are seeking a permanent full time Scrum Master to join our delivery team.

Scrum Masters at Janison require the ability to manage large customer expectations while ensuring the teams follow scrum processes and work towards continual improvement of these processes.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing team and be in a key role working with project, architect, development, QA and product teams. This role will be involved in planning, forecasting, and contributing to team structures and squad design.

 

This role will see you:

  • facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings
  • report in Scrum of Scrums the status of the teamwork
  • contribute to unblocking issues in the team by working across multiple departments to ensure the scrum team can continue their work
  • work closely with the product owner to ensure a well-groomed backlog exists and is maintained
  • support, improve and coach the team in Janison standards and quality guidelines

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • exceptional knowledge various Agile methodologies and bring an understanding of the suitability and benefits of each and have certification to support the knowledge.  You will have a good understanding of the SDLC, have good knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Azure.
  • excellent problem solving skills, great communication skills, an understanding or experience as a project manager and have the ability to communicate clearly to senior management.
  • experience across project management and understand the successful deployment steps involved to ensure delivery of software the team have worked on during a sprint (desirable).
